Republicans Have Christmas Parties, Democrats Have a Holiday Party

The Knox County Democrats should look at their recent Christ less activities to comprehend why they are irrelevant. First, at the Truman Day Dinner, they did not have a dinner prayer or even a moment of silence to bless the food and those that prepared the food. Now we are in December during the Christmas Season. The Republicans are having multiple Christmas Parties. Monday at 6 at Rothchild’s Catering the West Knox Republican Club’s Annual Christmas/Hanukkah Dinner, tickets are $25 each for a nice Christmas meal. The deadline to purchase tickets was this past Wednesday, so it is likely a sold out crowd. The Halls and South Knox Republican Clubs join this dinner because it is a must attend dinner. The South Knox club has invited some Marines to attend, the Marines will be accepting new unwrapped gifts for the Toys for Tots program.

Last week, on Tuesday December 2, the Karns Republican Club held their Christmas Party. Their dinner began at 6:30 p.m. in the Karns Middle School Library. They had food, entertainment and a cake auction. Members brought cakes and the cakes were auctioned off to the highest bidder. This is one of the fundraisers they use to help Republican candidates. They had entertainment as Erin Ott performed. Tickets were $20, which primarily covered the catered meal.

The Democrats are having one Holiday party, here are the details if you want to attend a social function with no real reason for the season to celebrate.
