When my kids were younger and they would get caught with a dishonest statement. I would say “if you lie about the little things, you will surely lie about the BIG things” So, now Bruce Pearl has admitted to lying to the governing body of collegiate basketball, which is a BIG thing. So, if he lied about a BIG thing, what little things has he lied about? What about that political endorsement for a certain candidate for Governor? If you compromise yourself in one area of your life, would you comprise in another? Not honorable actions.

Perhaps Coach Pearl should pay more attention to his basketball job than traveling the state for Bill Haslam for governor. I was offended by his actions when he was traveling with Haslam. I was surprised and disappointed that the chancellor did not call him on it, but I get it. When the Haslam name is becoming on more buildings and facilities on the campus by the day, I can see why he got such a pass. There should have been more scrutiny by the local media. Maybe this will knock some of the wind out Pearls' sail and he will come back down to earth with the rest of us.
Didn't he compromise his integrity with his first wife?
