Sam Anderson’s Attendance for his 16 hour a Week Job and Carson Has Explaining To Do

Mike Donila reports here on his blog that former Knoxville City School Teacher and Coach, former Knox County Teacher and Coach, former Knox County School Boarder, former Knoxville Director of Parks and Rec and now former Adminstrative Advisor to Dr. James P. McIntyre, Jr. apparently RARELY reported to his Andrew Johnson Building office. Dr. McIntyre responded that Anderson spent a lot of time in the schools. Well, there are swipe entry accesses at each of the schools that have been installed over the last many years and there are sign in books at each school that Anderson should have signed in upon arrival and signed out upon departure.

Surely, as a consultant or advisor, Anderson was required to submit reports detailing his work,  if no work product exists, no sign in / sign out sheets or swipe records at the high risk schools exist than is Anderson any different than Delbert Morgan who was convicted of being a Trustee office ghost employee?

As 11 year school boarder Karen Carson challenges local small business entrepreneur Jason Zachary for the State Representative Special election in the 14th district, what did she know about her former colleague collecting $42k a year for 16 hours of work a week? When did she know it? How many budgets did his name show up in personnel as part of the budget? If she didn’t consider her colleague being an “employee”. How would she dain to find conflicts in state government?
