Knox Co Commission just honored Joe Carcello for being the Audit Commission Chairman. For What? Knox County citizen went to the audit committee about the Public Building Authority. Chairman Carcello allowed a reduction in scope of the audit and accepted the slight of hand explanat of the Director of the PBA. Fast forward 5 years and in the Summer/Fall of 2015, what Loy had spent weeks and months exposing was made public. Both Jeff Galyon and the PBA Director Dale Smith are gone and what Loy made public has been fo to be accurate.
Also, in recognizing Carcello Commissioner Amy Broyles said she has learned so much about accounting from Joe. Really! She has been before the TN Registry of Election Finance twice for gross errors in finance reporting of her handling of campaign funds.
Such a joke if it wasn’t such a gross malfeasanc.
