My favorite local gospel group in the mid to late 1980’s was Cedar Ridge. A group composed of members of the Treece family, Jeff Treece is still traveling the country with The Jeff Treece Band. Violet Treece, Jeff and Dewayne’s mom passed away a few years ago from cancer. In this video Karyn Treece has the lead, Violet is the lovely lady in the red dress. If only we could find the video of Violet singing The Eagle Song, that would be AWESOME.
