One Knox Co School Board Race Will Run Off

Second District

Jennifer Owen garnered 5,027 votes or 65.82% to Grant Standefer‘s 2,610 votes or 34.18% Standefer is actually too good a guy to get tainted with a four year sentence on the school board. If Owen is successful as an unopposed candidate on August 4, 2016 she will be the School Board Member Elect.

Third District

Tony Norman was unopposed. If he is successful in the August 4, 2016 election where he will be unopposed as well, he will be the school board member elect.

Fifth District

Lori Boudreaux garnered 1,625 votes or 24.44% of the vote to Former Dept. Store Buyer Susan Horn’s 2,987 or 44.93% to Buddy Pelot‘s 2,036 votes or 30.63%. A runoff between Horn and Pelot will occur on August 4, 2016.

Eighth District

Mike McMillan was unopposed, if he is successful on August 4, 2016 he will earn another term.
