Is It Time for a Real Exchange in Roane County Road Superintendent Election? Brian Mullins Challenges His Opponents to a Real Debate!

On August 4, 2016 the citizens of Roane County will be electing a Roane County Road Superintedent and a Property Assessor. On July 12, 2016 Rockwood 2000 will host a forum with the candidates of Road Superintendent and one of the Congressional races.  Each candidate will be given three minutes to introduce themselves. Questions will be given to a moderator who will ask the candidates, then each candidate will be given one minute to respond. There will be no interaction between candidates.

Road Superintendent Candidate Brian Mullins has done an exceptional job through his Facebook page here identifying real road issues and his expertise in addressing the incidents that he has discovered and has been reported to him.

Mullins is challenging the other two candidates, Tim Clark and Dennis Ferguson to a fair, open and real debate. A debate where questions about real issues are discussed and answered. Mullins solidified his challenge by stating that will be make himself available anytime on any day to debate.

With a real, open debate the candidates need questions related to actual road building experience and general knowledge about road building construction procedure and practice. Candidates should able to engage each other concerning their answers.

Will Clark and Ferguson accept an open debate where real issues, real candidate qualifications can and will be discussed? We will keep you posted.
