Knox County Commissioner’s Campaign Financials

Yesterday, here I reported the campaign financials in the Knox County Commission races in the First, Second, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth and Ninth Districts.

Now, I will report to you the remaining open accounts, Bob Thomas, Vice Chairman and County Commissioner at large last filed a report on July 7, 2015. Thomas has NOT filed the February 1, 2016 as of yesterday July 13, 2016. Last years filing reports that he had $9,921.40 beginning balance, received ZERO, spent $1,000 and a leaving an on hand balance of $8,921.40, on the filing it is marked that it is required to file a detailed financial disclosure, however, it is not detailed.

First District

Sam McKenzie filed a report on July 21, 2011 he had a ZERO balance and his account was closed. (Mckenzie will leave Commission on August 31, 2016. He will be replaced by either Michael Covington, Evelyn Gill or Tyrone LaMar Fine)

Second District

Amy Broyles had $1,112.58 beginning balance, received ZERO, spent ZERO, has a loan of $4,000 leaving an on hand balance of $1,112.58 (Broyles will leave Commission on August 31, 2016, she will be replaced by either Michele Carringer or Laura Kildaire)

Third District

Randy Smith had $2,879.55 beginning balance, received ZERO, spent ZERO, leaving an on hand balance of $2,879.55

Seventh District

Charles Busler had $1,342.93 beginning balance, received ZERO, spent $48.00 leaving an on hand balance of $1,294.93

Ninth District

Mike Brown in a July 29, 2010 filing zeroed out his account and it is closed.

Eleventh

Ed Brantley had $142.81 beginning balance, received ZERO, spent $15.00, has a $2,000 loan and leaving an on hand balance of $127.81
