The audio replay from the Hallerin Hilton Hill radio show is below, Martin Daniel shoved Steve Hall this afternoon in the studios of Newstalk 98.7. Hill, Show Producer Chris Marion, Candidates James Corcoran and Bryan Dodson were witnesses to the assault. The story as told to me is that Daniel got out of his seat and was hovering over Hall, when Hall attempted to stand up, Daniel shoved him.

39-13-101. Assault.
(a) A person commits assault who:
(1) Intentionally, knowingly or recklessly causes bodily injury to another;
(2) Intentionally or knowingly causes another to reasonably fear imminent bodily injury
Let’s see if he gets the Hillary treatment or he answers for what he did!
Really? That is completely uncalled for. The man can practically insult Ali, make statements about Isis and physically accost a fellow candidate who is also a former Representative and he is still running?
I think I would save what dignity I still have, my honor and money and withdraw from the race. If a person cannot control their emotional state during a radio interview how can we expect one to make level headed and educated decisions about our state? Impulsiveness is a benefit in many professions, however it is not a benefit in a representative.
How much more of a mockery can we make of our legislature? He owes Hallerin an apology for disrespecting he and his show in such a way… Simply not acceptable behavior.
On a side note, usually only liars get angry to the point of violence when someone calls them a liar… Just saying.
I would guess that a couple other people believe Daniel is a liar.
