Thursday August 4th Knox County Pre-General School Board Campaign Financial Discloures

All Knox County School Board General Election candidates were required to file their campaigns Pre-General campaign financial disclosures on Thursday July 28, 2016. I waited until this morning Saturday July 30, 2016 to pull the reports, for those that haven’t filed yet, there really is NO excuse.

Eighth District

Michael M McMillan filed his report and is exempt from detailed disclosure (by state law) because he received less than $1,000 and his expenditures total less than $1,000. However, he does report having $450 last report and a balance on hand of $450.

Fifth District

Susan Horn filed a report with $361.33 on hand last report, received $4,540.00, spent $2,525.20 with $2,376.13 on hand. All of her contributions identify as (pre-primary) which is likely a scriveners error as the contributors are reported to have given the money between 7-01 and 7-18-2016 and the primary was held on March 1, 2016.  However, she probably wants to demand that her Treasurer file an amended disclosure to correct the error. $3,000 given from a one term Eighth District Knox County School Board Member and his wife and $500 from Jason Zachary’s State Representative Campaign.

Reuben “BUDDY” Pelot IV filed a report with $5,474.13 on hand last report, received $250, spent $4,283.29 and has $1,440.84 on hand.

Third District

Rex “Tony” Norman filed a report with $3,470.66 on hand last report, received zero, spent zero with $3,470.66 on hand.

Second District

Jennifer Owen has failed to file a pre-general disclosure as of July 30, 2016.
