Congressman Duncan STRONG as Ever, Daniel Holds On To Republican Nomination,

Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr. received 28,797 votes in the Republican Primary, his opponent Stuart Starr received 7,848 votes.

In TN House District 18, Martin Daniel held on to the Republican nomination to face Brandi Price on November 8, 2016. Daniel got 1,314 votes or 38.81% to Steve Hall‘s 964 votes or 28.47% to Knoxville Attorney James Corcoran‘s 856 votes or 25.28% to Bryan Dodson‘s 252 votes or 7.44%. Price received 887 votes in tonight’s Democrat Primary. Corcoran came out of no where to secure more than 25% of the vote. I would say Knoxville has met a future leader. I predict you will see him again.

In TN House District 13, Eddie Smith received 1,423 votes and his Democrat opponent Gloria Johnson received 1,638 votes, they face off on November 8.

In TN House District 14, Jason Zachary received 3,228 votes and his Democrat opponent Scott Hacker received 891 votes.

In TN House District 15, Joe Armstrong received 1,122 votes and he faces Independent Pete Drew on November 8, 2016.

In TN House District 16, Bill Dunn received 1,520 votes and he faces no opposition in November.

In TN House District 19, Harry Brooks received 1,408 votes and faces no opposition in November.

In TN House District 89 Roger Kane received 1,434 votes and his Democrat Opponent Heather Hensley received 641 votes they face off on November 8.

In TN State Senate District 2, Doug Overbey received 8,124 votes or 61.18% besting Challenger Scott P. Williams 5,155 votes or 38.82% of the vote. Overbey faces no opponent on November 8, 2016.

In TN State Senate District 6, Becky Massey was unopposed and received 5,557 votes. Massey faces no opponent on November 8, 2016.
