This year, students at the L&N Stem Academy have as part of a Government Class assignment sent letters to Senator Becky Duncan Massey about various legislation. Today, she visited the class of more than 50 students. She first talked for a few minutes and then addressed questions. Questions like how do you get involved? If you have an interest in politics should you pursue a law degree. One question asked her about the various tax cuts (video below) No one asked about the gas tax.
