City of Knoxville Primary is OVER and Now the March to November Begins! In District Four Tindell and Parker are TIED for Second

In District One, Stephanie Welch garnered 64.25% or 487 votes to Rebecca Parr 16.75% or 127 votes. Greg Knox finished third with 10.69% or 81 votes and Andrew Wilson finished with 8.31% or 63 votes. So in November it will be Welch and Parr competing citywide to represent District One.

In District Two Andrew Roberto claimed 39.16% or 807 votes to Wayne Christensen 30.03% or 619 votes. Brandon Bruce ran with 19.80% or 408 votes and David Williams finished with 11.01% or 227 votes. So in November it will be Roberto and Christensen competing citywide to represent District Two.

In District Three James Corcoran finished strong with 47.60% or 377 votes to Seema Singh Perez with 25.13% or 199 votes. Jody Mullins ran third with 16.67% or 132 votes and De’Ossie Deon Dingus, Sr. ended with 10.61% or 84 votes. So in November it will be Corcoran and Perez competing citywide to represent District Three.

In District Four Lauren Rider enjoyed a comfortable 43.51% or 889 votes to Amelia Parker 23.89% or 488 votes tied Former State Representative Harry Tindell with 23.89% or 488 votes, Dan Davis garnered 7.68% or 157 votes and Jack Knoxville finished with 1.03% or 21 votes. So in November it will be Rider and Parker competing citywide to represent District Four.

In District Six Gwen McKenzie topped the 13 person field with 22.24% or 314 votes, Jennifer Montgomery finished a strong second with 17.28% or 244 votes.  David Gillette finished with 11.19% or 158 votes, Dr. John A. Butler finished with 10.98% or 155 votes, Brandy Slaybaugh finished with 7.79% or 110 votes, Michael Covington finished with 7.08% or 100 votes, Maurice L. Clark, Sr. finished with 6.80% or 96 votes, Zimbabwe U. Matavou finished with 6.30% or 89 votes, Charles Frazier finished with 4.25% or 60 votes, Joyce Brown finished with 2.90% or 41 votes, Damon Rawls finished with 1.63% or 23 votes, Shawnee Rios finished with .99% or 14 votes and Kennie Riffey completed the field with .57% or 8 votes. So in November it will be McKenzie and Montgomery competing citywide to represent District Six.
