The Reception Will Be Held at Hunter Valley Farm Tonight

KNOXVILLE, TENN. – October 4, 2017 – Knox County Mayoral Candidate Glenn Jacobs will host a fundraising reception with special guest, Former WWE World Champion Daniel Bryan tonight from 6 – 8 p.m. at Hunter Valley Farms. The family-friendly event, “Yes, Yes, Yes Fest”, will feature a meet and greet with both Jacobs and Daniel as well as games, prizes and dinner. The cost is $25 per person. Kids 12 and under are free.

Known for his iconic “YES!” chant, Daniel Bryan was one of WWE’s rising stars in the first half of the decade. By 2015, he had amassed several titles including a World Heavyweight Championship, Intercontinental Championship and WWE Tag Team Champion which he won with Kane as his partner. However, due to a number of concussions, Daniel was forced to retire from wrestling in 2016 and was announced as the General Manager of WWE’s Smackdown Live later that year.
Glenn Jacobs is a Republican candidate for Knox County Mayor. A career with WWE spanning nearly 25 years has afforded Jacobs the opportunity to perform in front of millions of fans across the United States and in over 40 countries around the world but he has chosen East Tennessee as his home. He is a resident of East Tennessee of over 20 years and a small business owner. His business, Jacobs Insurance Associates, is the local champion of the Kindness Revolution, a national anti-bullying initiative. Along with his wife Crystal, he founded Kane’s Crusaders, a non-profit organization with the mission of bringing joy to the chronically ill teenagers of East Tennessee. Jacobs also serves on the advisory council at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital as well as the board of the Halls/Powell Boys and Girls Club.
