Is The Knox County Law Director the MOST Political Operation EVER?

Back in 2016, during the election for Knox County Law Director it was believed that Bud Armstrong was playing politics with his office, fast forward almost two years and to many people it sure seems like it. RBArmstrong

On November 15, 2017 I sent an email to Bud under the title Media Inquiry. Now, he doesn’t have to answer my question (although I am a property owning, tax paying, vote casting citizen) but I asked him questions about why his office is launching an investigation, IF they were. Which the county ordinance does not allow.

In addition to this, I have been told by a source that it is believed that Armstrong is revealing information about the identity of the individual that has filed the ethics complaint on two of the eleven County Commissioners. According to a source, a County Commissioner has talked about the identity of the individual that filed the complaint.

Additionally, a source says that a County Commissioner has said that comments have been made that there has NOT been first hand witnessing of the offense.

The two Commissioners (Busler and Thomas) have admitted it to the Knoxville News Sentinel. In the case of Busler, he posted a picture (below) on his Facebook during the golf tournament.

Armstrong in talking to a Republican club a few years ago told the story about when he decided to run for County Commission the very first time, picking up his petition and sitting down with his wife and saying to her, Patti Jo from this point forward people are going to think I am a crook, are you okay with that?

Well, I don’t believe that he is a crook, I just have to wonder what other political aspirations he may have and why does the County Law Department have to play politics, if they are.
