May I Introduce You to the Flip Flop?

Amber Rountree, South Knox School Board Member and Vice Chair of the Board can NOW be named the flip flopper.

She voted with the discontents in punishing educators that want to advance by canceling the Leadership Academy with UT Knoxville. A program that assisted many African American educators. The district she represents benefitted greatly by the program because of the educators that were able to utilize the training and the schools that benefitted by the on the job training for these future administrators. In voting NO she flip flopped from a position she accepted in September via Twitter.

She tweeted that she “❤️ seeing partnerships between UTKnoxville and the Knox County School Board. But apparently 3 months later her love had escaped her. Could it have been her marching orders dictated her vote on the Academy?

Rountree is up for re-election in a non partisan primary on May 1, 2018. The filing deadline to challenge her is February 15, 2018 at NOON. Contact the Knox County Election Commission to get the details and paperwork to be a candidate.

Yeah Mrs. Rountree has a School Board job making almost $30,000 a year. She got Madeline to hire her husband in a job so they both are on government insurance paying for all the babies she keeps having, time to put her to work somewhere other than a government tit.
