Busler Bolts Again, Biggs Represents

Tuesday night at the Knox County Commission Workshop Session the Commissioners we’re discussing the UOPP settlement which was different than the last time because the Commission has the Chancellor Opinion. When it came time for the Seventh District Commissioner Charles Busler he began with his irrational out of control ramblings about the Charter and how discussing this was illegal and he said they could do so with out him and for the second time he packed up his things and left.

Commissioner at Large Justin Biggs said as a resident of the Seventh District, I will represent that district as well as my position so that the seventh district is not unrepresented.

Additionally the Commission were discussing where the money to pay for this litigation should come from. Biggs made the most sense, he said the Commission nor the Mayor’s office brought this litigation so the office that brought this action should have to pay it. Commission Chairman Hugh Nystrom asked so you are suggesting the Law Directors Office and Biggs said yes.
