If you are traveling in from Greater Union County and get into halls and see this BIG H and some good landscaping letting you know that you are in the Knox County community of Halls. It is nice, my Halls sources tell me the labor and some cost was done by the Hallsdale Powell Utility. So if the sources are correct those high water, sewer bills helped with the beautification project.
Also, I am told that Hallsdale Powell Utility will have a Community Meeting on January 31, 2019 at Brickey McCloud Elementary. It seems Mayor Glenn Jacobs promise is coming to pass.
A Knox County Mayor that does what he says he will do. That is new and welcome.
