Knox County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner

In a week and a day, Saturday April 6, 2019 the Knox County Republican Party will host their annual Lincoln Day Dinner. Tickets are going fast. This years event features TN Governor Bill Lee and word is that TN Lt. Governor Randy McNally will be in attendance. The non partisan City of Knoxville elections for 2019 are just starting and the 2020 Knox County races are beginning to be discussed.

The City of Knoxville Primary Election is August 27, 2019 and the General Election is Tuesday November 5, 2019.

The Presidential Preference Primary in TN will be held on March 3, 2020, Knox County has historically held their County Primary on the same date (instead of May) to save money. So, you can expect the candidates for Knox County Property Assessor John Whitehead, candidates for Knox County Law Director, candidates for Knox County Commission District 1, District 2 – Michele Carringer; 4 – Hugh Nystrom; 5 – John Schoonmaker; 6, 8 and 9 – Carson Dailey along with Knox County School Board candidates District 2 – Jennifer Owen; 3 – Tony Norman; 5 – Susan Horne and 8 – Mike McMillan and any challengers to them to be gearing up soon.
