Another stop on Rocky Top (Gatlinburg, TN) on the TN Whiskey Trail is a stop at Ole Smoky Moonshine. Now they have two locations in Gatlinburg, one in Pigeon Forge and one in Nashville, TN. We visited the Ole Smoky Whiskey Barrelhouse at 650 Parkway in Gatlinburg.
Ole Smoky has a lot of flavored whiskey, flavored moonshine and they have a lot of fruit in moonshine. Since our visit in August 2018, they have dill pickles in moonshine. I wasn’t sure about it and sampled one and was surprised at it’s taste. There are some Ole Smoky items that are only available at the distilleries.
