TVA Tower Contracts are In…..

The Knox County Commissioners received an email from Chris Caldwell, the Deputy Chief of Staff of Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs with 23 attachments (21 legal documents, a contracts summary and a document checklist) totaling 208 +/- pages. Here are the contracts for your reading pleasure.

The Knox County School Board will be meeting in work session on Wednesday December 4, 2019 at 5 pm in the Main Assembly Room of the City County Building located at 400 W. Main Street in Knoxville, TN to discuss items on the boards regular session agenda on December 11, 2019 at 5 pm in the Main Assembly Room of the City County Building located at 400 W. Main Street in Knoxville, TN and the board is expected to vote on the MOU as it’s last item on the agenda on December 11, 2019. The MOU can be found here, and the fiscal note is no cost to Knox County Schools for the first 15 years, however this is a 40 year lease with renewals.

The following board members are expected to be on the March 3, 2020 ballot for re-election, Owen, Norman, Horn and McMillan. Hill will be on the March 3, 2020 Republican ballot for Knox County Commission Sixth District and Bounds will be on the August 6, 2020 ballot for State Representative Sixteenth House District.
