Knox News and Tyler Whetstone Trying to Change the Steffy Narrative

So, KnoxNews and in particular Tyler Whetstone have a story in today’s “Bird Cage Liner”. In My Humble Opinion, is an attempt to change the narrative of SoKno Tacos Ryan Steffy’s “confrontational and irrational“ email to Mike Donila that calls out Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, Jacobs staff and Gov. Bill Lee.

Whetstone’s narrative is it was the day after Jacobs applied pressure to open the community. It did occur on Tuesday after Monday’s Knox County Commission meeting.

However, if Whetstone had bothered to read the chain of emails, it is fairly clear that the request of two media entities, WBIR and myself wanting to view the task force meeting is what set Steffy off.

Maybe Whetstone was on a deadline. Who knows?

Wellllll, is there PROOF that Tyler Whetstone deliberately tried to change the narrative?

Yea, if I read the correct article, the IT trouble of some of the media not getting in for the briefing wasn’t addressed, but was THAT the focus of that particular Whetstone article? Can a journalist draw a conclusion whatsoever?

I still say to get it clear from Mike Donila. Does it not actually boil down to the County? Just wondering.

You ARE “getting it clear from Donila.”

How does this deal work?! Is Don on your payroll as writer or are you on governments as theirs?

    Citizen reporter. Thumbs down.

Haha, nope Donila doesn’t write or advise of what to cover. However, you want a finders fee, then you get me a government writers contract

Promised a government job just like Mike to keep him quiet. Citizen reporter. Thumbs down.

Ha, nope I am not paying nor accepting advice from Donila. However, if you wanna help get me a government writing contract, you could get a finders fee
