How Did That Work Out For Ya?

Not in an effort to enjoy Monday Morning Quarterbacking. Knox County Commission returns to Zoom meeting this afternoon at 5 pm, because Commissioner Richie Beeler has tested positive for COVID.

Beeler sits between the two oldest members of Commission, Commissioners Charles Busler and Carson Dailey. They must now be in quarantine, due to last Monday’s work session.

Back in May, Knox County School Boarder Mike McMillan pushed for in person meetings for the budget process. School Board began in person meetings and have never looked back. McMillan missed nearly all re-election campaign activities prior to COVID reportedly due to unrelated hospitalization and health concerns.

Now, the rush to in person meetings has three of the eleven Commissioners quarantined, how’d that work out for y’all?

It seems Knoxville City Council and Knoxville/Knox County Planning Commissions slow but steady approach has been a better decision.
