The audience attendance was GREATLY increased from the first meeting of October 20 due in part to the employees being made aware of it through internal correspondence and hopefully in part to this blog that recorded the last meeting and put it on YouTube and in the blog story HERE.

Never to disappoint and so the uniformed body that were guarding the inmates and patrolling our roads and highways and apprehending and solving crimes last night. I have last nights complete meeting below.

The first video is about Retention.

The second and probably the BEST is about Communication.

A couple observations from me.

First, after 3 and a half hours, 2 hours on October 20 and an hour and a half last night FINALLY the Knox County Law Department was brought to the table. Mr. Myers Morton was relegated to a seat in the audience until then.

Commissioner Jay and Law Department Attorney Myers Morton, who was FINALLY brought to the table

Second, Commissioner Jay when the Law Department was brought to the table inquired why the Merit Council meetings are not on CTV. Well, that is a good question, a BETTER one is why is this Committee NOT being broadcast on CTV or the meeting being recorded at all. Oh wait, BrianHornback.Com is recording at no cost to the County, the uniformed body or anyone. I am doing for the greater good of our county departments, the county taxpayers and for transparency.
