Betsy Henderson won the November 3 Special Election for the remaining term of former School Board Member Terry Hill, who was elected on August 6 to the Knox County Commission.

Henderson was sworn in and installed at 4 pm today, just in time for a 5 pm School Board Work Session.

Knox County Criminal Court Judge Kyle Hixson administered the Oath of Office. School Board Members Susan Horn, Jennifer Owen and Kristi Kristy along with County Commissioners John Schoonmaker and Carson Dailey were present. Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs made a few remarks.
