Breaking News: Rep. Kent Calfee Announces Retirement at Conclusion of the 112th General Assembly

Tennessee 32nd District State Representative Kent Calfee is announcing his retirement at the end of the 112th General Assembly

Along with the help of his wife Marilyn and Nadine, his legislative assistant in Nashville, Team Calfee have assisted untold numbers of fellow Tennesseans over the last 10 years. During the COVID epidemic many of the 32nd district constituents received unemployment and other assistance through Team Calfee’s efforts in cutting through the bureaucratic red tape.

After 20 years as a Roane County commissioner and 10 years as the 32nd District State Representative, Calfee feels his time will be better utilized at home on the family farm with Marilyn (aka, The Silver Fox) and Sawyer, their two and a half year old great nephew they are currently raising, and in working within their church family.

Rep. Calfee said, he is humbled, grateful and blessed by all the constituents of the 32nd District in Roane and Loudon County that have entrusted him with their votes through five successful elections. He thanks them and is confident that his successor will help the District constituents as Team Calfee has.

Thank you and God Bless
