TN Governor Winfield Dunn on Hee Haw

My buddy Jake Mabe posted this on his Pull Up A Chair blog about an episode of Hee Haw where Former Governor Winfield Dunn sang with Roy Clark and Minnie Pearl.

Reminded me of the 1970 Dunn Campaign Song

I have enjoyed spending time with Governor Dunn. Like the time we were in the green room before the Knoxville debate between my friend Jim Bryson and Prince Phillip of Nashville.

I have continually credited Governor Dunn with one of his quotes that I have used in my own campaigns. When he first announced for Governor. He said, “Support me if you can, Oppose me if you must, but above all participate.” That quote I have taken with me for over 30 years.

Governor Dunn is one of the good guys and I am blessed that I have been able to spend time with him and he has improved me.
