Last Night’s West Knox Republican Club Christmas Dinner

Last night the West Knox Republican Club met for their annual Christmas Dinner. It was held at Rothchild Catering and Conference Center in West Knoxville.

A source of BrianHornback.Com reports that Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr. spoke for about 15 minutes. One of student chorus/choirs from Bearden High School entertained the assembled crowd. It was said to me that Criminal Court Clerk candidate Mike Hammond worked the room really well. With the Christmas Dinner just prior to the May 2014 Primary and August 2014 General elections, a lot of candidates and a few of their supporters were in attendance. It was said to me that there were about 150 place settings and the crowd was good.

It was also reported to me that it was announced that the lease on the office location on Nancy Lynn Drive is up and that it is anticipated that location will close. The office furniture will be placed in storage at a cost of $60 a month.

Commissioner Robert Lawrence Smith apparently offered one of his commercial properties.

I’m sure the Christmas party (or should I say holiday party so I don’t offend the liberal chair) was very nice. What I find interesting is that the vice chair of the west Knox club was no where to be found. Maybe he has seen the true colors of the club and come to his right mind or maybe he just thought that the $25 a person plus a unwrapped toy could have gone to a true cause to help other not just to make the fat get a fatter! Merry Christmas Knox County GOP.

I forgot to mention that the office being shut down is a travesty! A county this size without a GOP office is a disgrace and we as conservatives wonder why liberals are winning our young people over at unreal rates.
All I can say is RIP Knox County GOP. In 10 years we will not have a conservative leg to stand on. This is just the first step marks word!!

Unbelievable that Ruthie is closing the office right before the 2014 election. I believe this is an attempt for her and her cronies to try and protect Waggoner, McCroskey, Ballard, Loophold and Briggs. All in an attempt to keep Hammond, Shouse, Campfield and Jones from being successful in May and August.

The last time all the Judges were on the ballot I believe was when you (brian) were Chairman. You had an office with Suzanne and Jo there helping all candidates. I guess Sandra Clark will praise Ruthiie for having money in the bank, but the cost will be Democrats with a Republican title in office.

Good to see the Focus publisher sitting at the table dining with his pal Ballard. Cue the theme song of to Cops, “bad boys, bad boys, what ya gonna do when they come for you?” Cause they will be coming soon.
