Dr. McIntyre is NOT an Applicant for a Superintendency in Colorado

In a follow-up to this post that was posted early this morning. I happened to run into Dr. James P. McIntyre, Jr. today and asked if he was aware of the comments made on the Sunday Inside TN television show by a candidate seeking the Fourth District School Board seat that Ray and Associates was promoting him for a Superintendency in Colorado. He said he was. I asked him if he had applied, he said he did not. I understand that there may be a recording of a school board meeting where Ray and Associates mentioned Dr. McIntyre. As head hunters, Ray and Associates would throw out names like spaghetti on the wall, to see what sticks.

I am sure that Dr. McIntyre gets phone calls from organizations, people wanting him to recommend others for positions. At this time after talking to Dr. McIntyre he is happy here in Knox County.

He is happy here eh? I think I would be happy too with a salary like his and a golden parachute. Of course there are some holes in that parachute depending on if he leaves, or if he is terminated with cause.

Anyway, candidates need to pay attention to what they say and maybe do a little basic fact checking.
