Bullying is Real in Schools. No School Board Member Talks About Protecting Our Kids From Bullying

I have been waiting for the School Board candidates to discuss real issues. Many of them talk about their years as volunteers in schools. If that were true, they would know that bullying is real. If they desired to solve real issues, they would require a zero tolerance on bullying.

The problem with bullying is that the one in three that are bullied, are always the one voice against the mob. The mob (groups of kids) cover and the bullied kid becomes the depressed kid that becomes isolated kid and the roller coaster continues until something tragic occurs. For Kirk Smalley it was when his son Ty took his own life. WBIR has some good information on Stopping Bullying, here.

Bullying remains a public concern. What we want for our children is that, we want them to have the assertiveness skills necessary to feel confident and able to stand up for themselves and, equally important and difficult, to be able to stand up for their peers. As a mother, I always teach my children ways to feel good about themselves, how to get along with others, and how to treat each other with respect and dignity. I would like to share this link, about a service on how to protect your children: Check it out it’s interesting: http://safekidzone.com/?a_aid=514ae252c9f64

I always have heard and seen people or children who are bullied. Threatened, hurt, verbally abused, etc. It`s really hurt seeing people get hurt. “haters will say what they want, but their hate will never stop you from chasing your dream”. I suggest a safety application you could use if you are in trouble. check this out for more info. http://safekidzone.com/#!/page_home
