Political Campaigns are All Fun and Games, Right?

This weekend I was searching youtube as I sometimes will do and stumbled upon a video that has been edited of a long interview that Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr’s opponent participated in last year. In talking to multiple sources this week, apparently several people have been watching “Brother Dan’s” (whoever Brother Dan is) video.

Congressman Duncan’s opponent has enjoyed pointing to the Congressman’s continual re-elections to represent the Second District every two years. Now, that the issue of the Congressman’s opponent failing to vote in 14 elections since 1996 has been exposed (primarily here). The opponent’s supporters are not happy about the factual reporting. While they have been talking about “The Congressman” which is our current Congressman’s father service and they make other comments about other members of our Congressman’s family. Which I believe is low class disrespect. When a couple of people mentioned this video to me this week, I noticed there are 1,500 views while some videos of the Congressman’s opponent has been posted for over 9 months and have NO WHERE near the number of 1,100 views.

I view this video as a funny take on the opponents own words. He and his supporters won’t see it that way. Unfortunately, it is what happens when you get in the arena of political warfare and you start throwing mud, it comes back at you.

This guy is a joke. No experience, no education, no nothing. We do have “term limits.” It’s called an election!
