Ray Jenkins becomes a Knox County Magistrate

Knox County Commission appointed Ray H. Jenkins got the job of Knox County Magistrate on first vote. Commissioner Norman nominated Jenkins. Commissioners Ownby, Briggs, Wright, Brown and Shouse all voted to give Jenkins the job.

Candidate Dustin Dunham was nominated by Commissioner McKenzie, Candidate Maria Danker was nominated by Commissioner Broyles and Chairman Brad Anders voted for Danker giving her two votes. Candidate Rhonda Lee was nominated by Commissioner Robert Lawrence Smith and candidate Steve Williams was nominated and got a vote from Commissioner Mike Hammond.

    Thank you for the kind words. I know everybody thinks I’m a “Jr.” but Daddy was Ray Lee and I’m Ray Hal.

    The Knox County Commision is a joke! The people of this county overwhelmingly said they did not want Jenkins in a judicial role if I recall he finished a distant third. I am sure the “puppet masters” hands were all over this one as well. It’s time we tell the “uppet master” we are tired of him and his DA tactics
