The community group opposing Westland Cove, high rise apartments along West Emory Church Road in the Sinking Creek Cove area will be having a community yard sale on Saturday, September 27th, in the West Emory Presbyterian Church parking lot. The sale will begin at 8am and run until about 1:00 pm. The proceeds will go into the Westland Cove Opposition trust account at Wayne Kline’s law firm (Hodges, Doughty & Carson Attorneys).
The group needs donations of items to sell. This is a very good reason to clean out your closets, basements, and garages!!! We prefer no clothing in this sale. Items not sold will be donated to KARM (Knox Area Rescue Ministries). Members of the group will be available in the West Emory Church parking lot to collect your donated items on Tuesday evening, September 16th and Thursday evening, September 25th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. We will also arrange to pick up large amounts of items and any items that you may not be able to drop off on the 16th or 25th. Please call the Bensons at 693-7307 to arrange pick up of items.
In the event of a rain shutout on the 27th, the sale will be rescheduled for Nov. 8th.
