Knox County School Board Members Go Back To School

Yesterday at 4 p.m., Members of the Knox County School Board were invited to Bearden Middle for the purpose of an informational meeting on the IB program, in particular for the MYP (Middle Years Progress). West High School has been home for the IB program for a few years. Now, the board has been asked to consider beginning a middle school IB and because Bearden Middle is a predominate feeder to West it seems a logical prospect.

A lot of faculty and staff have worked hard in developing this proposal. Hopefully, the board members can work through what ever objections they had and have and together see the program implemented.
