Foster Arnett keeps saying he stopped the practice of giving the employees a paid Christmas Shopping Day. What he did was simply change the name. In 2009, he implemented a Vacation Bonus Day to all full time employees as evidenced in this memo from his office. When he was asked about it last night at a public meeting, he denied it. When confronted with the memo he said “Oh, I forgot about that. You are right. I am wrong.” If he can not remember a policy he implemented 9 months ago, how can he be suitable for a position of public trust?
