City of Knoxville 2025 City Council Contestants are Set for Now….

This past Thursday May 15 at Noon, the qualifying deadline for candidates seeking election to Knoxville City Council seats 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. This Thursday May 22 at Noon is withdrawal deadline. As always #TheMegaBullhornofTruth will report if anyone drops out.

First District: current Knox Planning Commissioner Karyn Adams, Lindsey Jaremko, Law Enforcement Advocate Becky Jones and former THP Officer Charles Van Morgan.

Second District: Nathan Honeycutt and Melody Watts.

Third District: Nick Cipparo, former Knox Sheriff employee Ivan Harmon, Electrical Entrepreneur Doug Lloyd of Lloyd Electric Company and Frank Ramey

Fourth District: Matthew Debardelaben, former Second Congressional District candidate Jane George, former Knoxville Mayoral candidate Jeff Tallman.

Sixth District: Knox NAACP President Sam Brown, former Republican nominee for Knox County Commission Charles Frazier, Violence Interrupter Organizer Dezel Grant, SEED Founder and President Stan Johnson, George J. Cat dad Raudenbush, III and Lawrence “Man” Williams.

Early Voting is August 6-21 with the Primary Election Day August 26.
