The Center City Conservatives Republican Club met tonight at the Shoney’s located at 4410 Western Avenue. We got a legislative report from State Rep. Eddie Smith.

Candidates John Whitehead for Property Assessor, David Wright for Commissioner District 8 and Steve Hall for State Representative District 18 were all present. Lori Boudreaux former candidate for School Board Fifth District attended, she thanked the club for their support and she is an active member of the CCCRC.
The three Speakers this month were Judge Bill Ailor, Judge Scott Green, Judge Greg McMillan. Judge Ailor swore in two officers, Second Vice President Casey Mynatt and Secretary Deb Stallings.

The club voted to give a monetary contribution to the Knox Co Republican Party, because we exist to help the local party.
It didn’t go unnoticed that we had an overflow crowd of some possible observers in the booth right outside of the meeting room. Our club is open to any visitors, we hope next month they will come on in. Next month District Attorney General Charme Allen and the Chief of Administration of the Knox Co. Sheriffs Office Lee Tramel will be our Speakers.
