TN House Districts and One Senate District August 4th Primary Election Campaign Finance Disclosures

On the August 4th, 2016 TN Primary Election ballot are 7 House Districts and 1 Senate District with contests. Only one race District 18 has opponents challenging in the Republican Primary. James Corcoran, Martin Daniel, Bryan Dodson and Steve Hall. In Districts 13, 14, 18 and 89 there will be races between a Republican and Democrat candidates. In District 15, the contested race will be with a Democrat and an Independent candidate. It has been reported that in District 14, the Democrat Scott Hacker has suspended his campaign. In State Senate District 6, MY State Senator Becky Duncan Massey faces no Republican opponent on August 4th and no Democrat or Independent candidate on November 8th, 2016. If you did not early vote, your only option NOW is to go to YOUR assigned voting precinct between 8 am and 8 pm this coming Thursday August 4, 2016.

District 13

Eddie Smith, Republican Incumbent with $53,818.99 on hand last report, received $10,200.00, spent $1,330.95, received an in-kind contribution of $2,500 from the House Republican Caucus with a balance on hand of $62,688.04

Gloria Johnson, Democrat, Former one termer with $62,371.18 on hand last report, received $8,020.00, spent $6,117.05 with a balance on hand $64,274.13

District 14

Jason Zachary, Republican with $14,095.59, received $3,900.00, spent $1,646.42 with a balance on hand of $16,349.17 Expenditures include a contribution to Susan Horn Knox County School Board Opponent of Buddy Pelot $500, Rep. Jerry Sexton $300 who is being challenged by James Acuff of Washburn, TN and Nathan Massey in TN House District 50 $250.00 being challenged by Bill Bernstein

Scott Hacker, Democrat filed a report of ZERO on hand last report and ZERO on hand. It has been reported that Hacker has suspended his campaign.

District 15

Joe Armstrong, Democrat $7,759.62 on hand last report, received $2,000.00, spent $1,594.00 with a balance on hand of $8,164.62

Pete Drew, Independent has not filed a Pre-Primary campaign finance disclosure.

District 16

Bill Dunn, Republican with $33,637.16 on hand last report, received $4,800.00, spent $124.00 with a balance on hand of $38,313.16

District 18

James Corcoran, Republican with $3,680.66 on hand last report, received $195 and gave his campaign a $2,000 loan for a total receipt of $2,195.00, spent $1,450.00 for two campaign workers, has an outstanding loan of $6,616.00 with a balance on hand of $4,425.66

Martin Daniel, Republican with $8,104.04 on hand last report, received $15,300.00, gave himself $30,500 in loans from 7/6-7/25/2016 for a total of $45,800.00, spent $51,004.36, the outstanding loan balance is $215,100.00 with a balance on hand of $2,899.68

Bryan Dodson, Republican with .05 on hand last report, does not report receiving anything, does not report spending anything, reports an outstanding loan of $500.00, does not report any obligations, does not report any inkind contributions.
