Gill Resigns Knox Schools Position

BrianHornback.Com on September 7, 2017 was the first to report that Knox County Commissioner and tenured Knox County teacher Evelyn Gill was placed on leave with pay.

The Knox News Sentinel obtained her personnel file on site at South Doyle Middle and it was filled with documents of concern.

The media reports were that on October 20, Gill was cleared to resume. However, was being reassigned to a position at Fulton High. Gill opted to resign, retire what you may just call leave the employment of Knox County Schools.

Gill has been serving as the Middle School Representative for the teacher labor union. Now that she’s departed employment with the Schools. I guess the labor union will need a new actively employed middle school rep, or leave her in place. It is a labor union anyways.
