EMERT OUTRAISES BURCHETT, REPORTS NEARLY $100,000 IN CONTRIBUTIONS IN 2018 Q1 REPORT

Knoxville, TN – Today, conservative businessman and Republican candidate for Congress Jason Emert announced he raised nearly $100,000 in the first quarter of 2018. This leaves Emert with over $115,000 in his campaign account. Emert out fundraised Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett by almost $10,000.

“Our first quarter total is just the latest indication that our campaign is charging forward with a full head of steam. People across East Tennessee are hearing our conservative message and understand that we can’t afford to send another career politician to Washington,” said Emert. “I’m the only candidate who’s not bought and paid for, and I’m the only candidate who will actually make Washington work for us again.”

“Lauren and I are truly humbled by everyone’s continued support and constant prayers for our campaign. We will keep working hard to earn the support of Tennessee’s 2nd district voters.”
