How Did It Happen?

O.k. a couple of weeks ago the News-Sentinel links to a 99 page Idleaire investors list. Everyone with 1,000, 2,000 or 20,000 shares are subjected to the public attention. The newspaper writes about conflicts of interest of elected officials.

However, one man sits in his plush office in the metal shed on the hill on News Sentinel Drive reading the paper, he never ventures down the hall to inform his employee, Business writer and Editor Josh Flory that “hey, they left me and my 18,000 or so shares of the list. Be sure that I am disclosed as well. Because it is the right thing to do.”

You ask, Who is that gentleman in the plush office in the metal shed on the hill, that owns 18,000 or so shares of Idleaire? Bruce Hartmann, publisher of the News-Sentinel. You know he and his company backed Jack McElroy in the lawsuit against the County Commission. In that lawsuit it was all about being open and transparent. How about Bruce’s actions in being open and transparent?
