Checking the facts on Spangler Campaign Contributions

Checking the facts on Tom Spanky Spangler’s campaign financial disclosures from mid 2019 to current, I find 10 employees that have contributed to the campaign.

One gave $100 on May 15, 2019

Second gave $1,000 with $500 on June 10, 2019 and $500 on May 20, 2021

Third gave $1,000 with $500 on October 6, 2020 and $500 on March 10, 2022

Fourth gave $100 on November 3, 2020

Fifth a Chief gave $1,100 on December 9, 2021

Sixth a Chief gave $100 on February 2, 2022

Seventh gave $1,000 on March 15, 2022

Eighth gave $1,000 on March 15, 2022

Ninth gave $600 same address as a business and their home gave $100 June 4, 2019 and $500 on May 28, 2021

The Tenth gave $350 on June 4, 2019, $100 on May 21, 2021 and $100 on May 21, 2021 and $100 on May 28, 2021. It correctly records the aggregate as $650. Then on December 17, 2021 gave $1,000 (it should then record the aggregate as $1,650, it does not) then on February 2, 2022 $150 (the aggregate should record $1,750, it does not) then also on February 2, 2022 it shows $50 and shows it as $50 toward the August 4, 2022 General Election. The limit per person, per election (Primary or General) is $1,600, the tenth person is a hundred dollars over the maximum limit for this years Primary.

These are only ten current employees of Knox County Sheriffs Office, not retirees or former employees.
