Yesterday afternoon, Knox County Criminal Court Judge Hector Sanchez kicked off his 2024 campaign.
Sanchez was appointed last year by TN Governor Bill Lee after Lee appointed Judge Kyle Hixson to the TN Court of Criminal Appeals.
After an appointment, the Judge must run for election on the next County ballot. So, March 5, 2024 is the next ballot. Presently Sanchez will be the only Judge on the 2024 ballot. After his 2024 successful election, he will then run at the same time as all the other Knox County Judges.
