Kincannon Clears Field, Other Races Close as August 29, 2023 Knoxville Primary Election Results are in

Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon received 9,429 votes or 57.51% to Jeff Talman 4,808 votes or 29.33% to Constance Every 1,328 votes or 8.10% to R.C. Lawhorn 829 votes or 5.06%. Kincannon is now unopposed in the November 7, 2023 General Election having received 50% +1 in the Primary Election.

City Councilwoman Lynne Fugate received 7,188 votes or 46.02% to Cameron Brooks 6,746 votes or 43.19% to Darin Worsham 1,685 votes or 10.79% for City Council at Large Seat A.

Debbie Helsley received 10,536 votes or 69.64% to R. Bentley Marlow 4,594 votes or 30.36% for City Council at Large Seat B.

City Councilwoman Amelia Parker received 6,598 votes or 41.06% to Tim Hill 5,927 votes or 36.89% to Matthew Best 3,543 votes or 22.05% for City Council at Large Seat C.

City Councilman Charles Thomas received 1,287 votes for City Council Fifth District.

Knoxville Municipal Judge John Rosson, Jr. received 5,963 votes or 37.65% to Tyler Caviness 5,735 votes or 36.21% to Mary Ward 2,215 votes or 13.99% to Andrew Beamer 1,924 votes or 12.15% for Knoxville Municipal Judge.

Total Votes cast 16,645 – Early Votes 7,988; Absentee Votes 820; Election Day 7,837
