Ward finished third in the recent October 29 Primary Election garnering 2,215 votes. Ward said the experience in being a first time candidate for elected office was one that she is grateful to have completed. “Meeting citizens at their doors, participating in the candidate forum with the other candidates is one that has confirmed my belief in Knoxville and the people of this great city.” Ward continued, “In the process of having persons ask to place yard signs with my name in their yards as their endorsement of candidacy was rewarding and humbling.”

Now that Ward is not a candidate in the General Election, she feels that it is important that the people of Knoxville that believed in her and the citizens that missed participating in the Primary election know that she is now supporting Judge John Rosson, Jr. Ward will cast her vote for and Elect Rosson for the next four years.

“The work of our Knoxville city court is so important that the next four years must be led by someone with the experience and maturity to perform the task and Judge Rosson is that candidate.”
