Over on KnoxViews, the free lancer responds to my belief that her report in Metro Pulse was a Jason Emert pre empetive strike. Here is what she wrote in the comments on KnoxViews.

Oh, Lord.
The Truth Squat’s delusional “explanation” of Jason Emert’s footshot campaign debut is a beaut.His supposition (near as I can decipher it) that the Metro Pulse Gloria Johnson story was a pre-emptive strike against Emert’s campaign is wrong. Just flat stupid wrong. I hadn’t heard anything about Emert since receiving his “Metro Pulse says I’m dying” email late last year. And I’d never heard of him before that episode.
And contrary to the TS’s convoluted explanation, someone he solicited money from the day he announced told me he wanted the maximum amount.
I did, of course, do an Internet search on him last week and enjoyed the Miami Vice-ish pix of him at cocktail parties under the palms. His parents have clearly spent a ton on tuition.
The free lancer aka stringer either doesn’t read news accounts or in her advanced age is forgetting what she reads. I will cite two examples, however, I reserve the right to submit additional ones if I get the urge.
This from Georgiana Vines on July 15, 2013. Vines is a columnist with the same organization that the free lancer, free lances for, I guess they should give her a complimentary subscription to the Big Metal Shed on the Hill publication. Maybe that was too long ago or maybe in fairness the free lancer doesn’t read Georgiana Vines.

Of course, I will leave alone her slap at Emert for his parents having the ability to assist him in tuition payments. I do not even know if that is true or not. But clearly it is a class warfare game that she and Gloria Johnson will try and play. Try that in Sequoyah Hills ladies. That dog won’t hunt there. It may be pure envy on the free lancer’s part for her own education.
I sincerely wish in hindsight that I had spent more time on book learning. But we can not turn back time. So, move forward and try to help my own three children do better for themselves than I did for myself.
Now, I am fully prepared for the nastiness that I am about to receive from the free lancer and her ‘friends’. As she writes ‘Truth Squat’ about me evidently exchanging the d for a t. The Truth Squad carries on. Affidavits anyone?
If only Bean could or would produce affidavits like for the source she alleges Emert called asking for the maximum. Those are the voices in her head.
