Why is Briggs First Commercial So Negative?

Richard Briggs, one of two Republican challengers to State Senator Stacey Campfield has released his first television commercial. The commercial begins with a military theme, because of Briggs military background. But as Briggs begins to talk, he speaks with an aggressive negative tone contrasting and comparing himself to Campfield.

One of the major criticisms of Campfield is he is too negative. So it seems that Briggs would not want to replicate it, unless he is simply Campfield 2.0?

On August 7, 2014 with early voting July 18 – August 2 the Republican primary for State Senate, longtime Republican activist Mike Alford, Briggs and Campfield face off.

Well folks I certainly can understand why the good doctor comes off abrasive, the folks in this district just kept voting this clown in, year after year. I just guess he is just as tired if Stacey as the next feller.

Ask yourself this question, what in Sam Hell has Stacey did that amounted to anything positive? Well? The correct answer is not a damn thing. This clown resembles Howdie Doodie, except he isn’t sporting wood.

His bills he introduced and might I add failed time and time again were as useless as Joy Mccroskey in the clerks office. And folks that’s scraping the bottom of the barrel. I am surprised he isn’t proposing a wheel tax on scooters, motorized wheel chairs and walkers for the elderly.

I hope the good doctor pulls this one off as old Stacey and his troops would flag down parked cars on Central Avenue for a vote. Stand behind old Elmer on this one, the good doctor can provide excellent representation to this seat, something it’s lacked since this rainbow the clown took office.

I met Stacey once, he seemed just light on his feet and ready to fly away at any minute. No more Stacey for me!
