Lindsay Lawler Limited Edition CD at TA/Petro Exclusively August 28, 2015

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 19, 2015) – Recording artist and Highway Angel program spokesperson Lindsay Lawler today announced a limited edition version of her latest album, “Two Peaches, Six Cookies”, would be hitting the shelves of TravelCenters of America (TA) and Petro Stopping Center locations nationwide on August 28th.

This special run of albums features “I Drive” – a song Lawler co-wrote with producer and Catch This Music talent Chris Roberts – written specifically for TA’s Citizen Driver Award program, which recognizes the hard-working men and women of trucking that lead exemplary lives, both on and off the road. The song was added as a bonus track and is only available on the limited edition copies of “Two Peaches, Six Cookies” sold in TA and Petro locations.

“I’ve long valued my relationship with TA/Petro and I’m so proud to offer an album so personal and specific to their brand and program,” said Lawler. “With my album being carried in stores, I’ve taken another step toward my ultimate goal: to support and promote an industry that, quite frankly, our country couldn’t survive without.”

Lawler has been a long-time supporter of the trucking industry – originally partnering with the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) in 2010 to represent their Highway Angel program as an artist ambassador and spokesperson. Since then, she’s developed and embarked on an annual Highway Angel Truck Stop Tour, now in its third year and sponsored by TA, Schneider, Wholesale Truck and Finance and Epic View.

“I started doing the truck stop tour because I wanted to reach the trucking community and share the music that I created about them and the industry they so proudly represent,” said Lawler. “We’ve had a lot of fun, learned a few lessons, and now, with this being our third tour, we feel we’ve somewhat mastered the truck stop tour concept. I am so proud to be the spokesperson for TCA’s Highway Angel program – I love meeting new people, visiting with old friends, and performing for the wonderful men and women of the trucking industry.”

Lawler’s debut single, “Goodbye Go”, was released to country radio June 6. The original release of “Two Peaches, Six Cookies” is available on iTunes.
