Who else has the TN AAO honored with an award? In 2013 Roane County Property Assessor David Morgan was given the Assessor of the Year by the TN AAO and the the TN Comptrollers office came and took over the appraisals and assessments of Roane County. Here is the March 4, 2015 story from the TimesFree Press out of Chattanooga.
The Times Free Press article said “one official called Roane County’s “fundamentally flawed” reappraisal process, and the county will get the bill for their work.”
