The $#I+ mailer attacking John Whitehead‘s family that hit mailboxes on Thursday looked familiar. The Resolution was a request from the Retirement board and Commissioners Phil Ballard, Robert Lawrence Smith voted for it at the motion of current Property Assessor employee then County Commissioner Craig Leuthold. A source reminded me yesterday that I had exposed it four years ago, I went back and sure enough, Ballard had mailed the same exact mailer. Here is the blog post. The comments are priceless. At least somebody fixed the typo, probably Gary Drinnen. Because Ballard has Don Bosch* and Weaver has Ballard, I doubt Bosch cares about the grammar.
So, now it is obvious that Ballard and Weaver are circumventing the 1994 Knox Co. term limits referendum overwhelmingly approved by the voters seeking a third term.
